Overview
Scaraboo is a puzzle game about solving levels, keeping a daily habit, and comparing fair skill results. We collect only what we need to run the game, protect ranked play, support accounts, and understand whether the game is working.
Information we collect
- Account information, such as user id, username, display name, avatar, and sign-in provider.
- Gameplay information, such as level starts, solves, moves, grades, streaks, trophies, and Nudge Rating.
- Purchase and entitlement information, such as whether an account owns Remove Ads. Payment details are handled by Stripe, Apple, or Google.
- Technical information, such as device type, platform, app version, crash logs, and basic analytics events.
- Local guest progress stored on your device before sign-up, such as daily completion and streak data.
How we use information
- To save progress and sync it across devices when you sign in.
- To validate ranked and daily solves using server-side replay checks.
- To show leaderboards, profiles, trophies, streaks, and purchase entitlements.
- To improve onboarding, puzzle difficulty, performance, and reliability.
- To respond to support, privacy, and account requests.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not sell moves, undos, rating, or ranked advantage.
- We do not use lootboxes or gambling mechanics.
Third-party services
Scaraboo may use service providers for authentication, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and payments. Current planned providers include Clerk, Railway, Neon, Stripe, Apple, Google, PostHog, and Sentry.
Your choices
You can play some parts of Scaraboo without an account. You can request access, correction, or deletion of account data by contacting us. Some gameplay records may be retained where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or ranked integrity.
